Terms & conditions

Client confidentiality

Client/therapist relationship is a key component of Bellscross Veterinary Physiotherapy, in normal circumstances, information and records will not be discussed or shared with a third party without implied or expressed consent.

Veterinary consent

In line with 1962 Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order, consent for Veterinary Physiotherapy treatment is needed from your vet if your horse is undergoing veterinary treatment or has ongoing health problems. A form can be sent to your vet practice on your behalf or can be sent directly to you. As of November 2020, new guidance from the RCVS means those undergoing purely maintenance treatments do not require veterinary consent.

Cancellation policy

We understand that sometimes extenuating circumstances will force you to cancel your appointment. In other circumstances, if 24hrs notice is not given we reserve the right to charge 50% of the appointment charge.

Payment terms

Payment is due through either bank transfer, card or cash payment before or on the day of treatment unless otherwise discussed.

Unexpected injury/ lameness

If an unexpected injury or lameness is found during assessment, Veterinary Physiotherapy treatment cannot be given until your vet has assessed the injury/ lameness. A discounted fee will be charged in the event of this.
